Depends on what your requirements are. How far do you plan on using your PC? Does your PC support b/g/n?Either way I would suggest Belkin N its like 80$ at CCity. The range and speed is very nice, I get 52Mbps @ aprox. 400ft. My ping for GW usually hovers between 39-100ms. However if your PC is b/g not N your range will be much smaller.

I have been using a Linksys WRT54G wireless router for about 2 years. It works flawlessly. They are 49.99 with free shipping at newegg.com

I have that same router, and it is very nice and stable. I could recommend it, it's also pretty easy to set up.

Stay away from cheap Linksys crap, god their cheaper routers really suck, burned out two of them in one year. If you go Linksys, buy the more expensive ones.

Best Linksys router you can get is the WRT54GL. Load it with Tomato firmware and you're good to go.

Thumbs up

Oh yeah, forgot to mention;with that Belkin I made a parabolic reflector for it and it boosted my signal strength from 2-4 bars over 400ft. So cheap and so easy to setup just like Brianna said.

As IrishCB said, make your router a paper hat - it works!

As for Tomato - anyone who knows anything about Linksys (and Buffalo?) will recommend this firmware. Read about it and download here - http://www.polarcloud.com/tomato
